Spent a lovely long weekend with our Swedish/Italian friends who have a house by the Garda lake. Francesco and Stefano knows each other from their Erasmus year in Uppsala and Francesco ended up staying in Sweden as a professor and is now married to amazing Anna. Weekends with them are always so relaxing and full of laughter and interesting conversations :)
This time we were lucky getting invited to the Dire Straits consent in Padova as well. Francesco's friend Marco had got free tickets and the possibility to talk to the band members since he is producing wine for them and we ended up coming with. So Friday night was spent in the garden av a wonderful old nobel villa outside Padova where they hold their consent.
Saturday and Sunday were instead just full of good food, the company of friends and refreshing baths in the lake. Just as it should always be :)

Lago Maggiore
My favorite Sundays are spent on the countryside. I've been growing up in Sweden in a green neighborhood with villas and gardens and the forest around the corner so spending a day by the lake or on the hillside is like medicine for my soul.
Yesterday we visited our friends in their parents place, in a small village by Lake Maggiore. Lovely day with sun, good food, joy, and love. I don't need more.

Wedding in France/Switzerland
Here are some pics from our second wedding weekend for this year.
We stayed in a cute little hotel in the small city Evian in France where the wedding party took place. The proper ceremony was in a castle in Aigle in the Swiss alps though, and all guests got a shuttle transport back and forth to Evian. Everything was do perfect!!!

Lovely Dubai!
Just got back from 3 amazing days in Dubai! Our dear dear friends had organized everything with perfection and we managed to see a lot of different things and places and yet have time to be at the beach as well ( 28 degrees in the water and 40 on land :). Felt so nice after this winter!
Dubai is probably the most modern city I've seen but It does not at all feel stressful. Here and there you find small "oases" in the middle of all skyscrapers and since the sea is entering in the city you never feel claustrophobic. People are taking it easy and everybody are happy and helpful and since it's a city of expats everyone are eager to get new friendships and open for new business ideas. An other good thing is that it's so safe, the level of crimes is probably one of the lowest on earth.
I can't wait to get the possibility to go back to lovely Dubai and to see our wonderful friends again! Grazie mille Davide and Carine!!!
