Pasta al forno pugliese

Yesterday we celebrated Stefano's birthday at his parents place in Pavia. His mother is from the south of Italy and she is always preparing the most delicious local dishes you can imagine. One of her masterpieces is pasta al forno and here I'll give you the recipe. It is really simple, but sooo good!

What you need is:
A good home made tomato sauce
Home made meatballs
Salami chopped in small pieces
Boild egg chopped in pieces
Mozzarella
Penne pasta

Boil the pasta so it's a little more than half way ready. Place in layers, in an ovensafe dish, all the ingredients and on the top the mozzarella. Let it go in the oven until it's crispy on top.
Serve and enjoy!!!
