New bedroom drawer

We just got our new bedroom drawer sent home and I'm on my way decorating our new corner. Think it will be cosy :) Will show you when it's done.

Summer is over

After more than a month of laziness we are now back home since a week. Stefano's parents dog left us today and this weekend was the last one on the seaside. The weather is still very warm and sunny but in my mind we are going towards autumn. And I have to admit that I'm looking forward to dark and cosy evenings at home, candle lights and long dinners.
We have some new "friends" in our house after all flea-markets we've been running around at :) and here I just give you an idea of the adds.

My mothers bohemian vintage

If you by any chance pass by the area Skania in the south of Sweden you have to take a trip to the small village Jonstorp to visit my mothers super cute and bohemian vintage / flea market Utsökt (exquisite).
You'll find it in our flowery romantic garden and you can find anything from clothes and accessories to old porcelain and furniture. Everything to good prices and very well selected.

Vintage summer party!

Ivory vintage shooting

We at Ivory- vintage & luxury www.facebook.com/ivoryvintage together with photographer www.lovebynikkadimroci.com and makeup artist Chiara Cantù are organizing vintage photo shootings for events like bachelorette parties, birthdays, engagements or just for fun.
Yesterday afternoon we had a lovely young couple over for a shooting in 50's style. Sweet Luca had been surprising his girlfriend with this unexpected gift and she was so happy (and lucky having a boyfriend like him). We were all stunned by their beauty and the pictures will turn out great!

Belle 'poque

Had a free morning today and been around searching for a birthday gift for my love. His birthday is next week and mine is in July so we kind of have an agreement that we'll buy something for the house together. Since there are still some furniture missing it's a fair deal for both of us, but the thing is that I still would like to give him something on his very day...
Went to my favorite boutique Belle 'poque here in Piacenza and could not resist to buy to small things for my self as well ;)
One old Madonnina crown and a hand painted egg for my collection.
Earlier on I've been buying from her our lovely porcelain Madonnina and a Chinese vase from the early 1900's.

New lamp

So in love with our new vintage bargain. Had in mind something very similar to what we finally found on a flea market two weeks ago in Corte Maggiore outside Piacenza :)

Vintage

Lovely sunny day at Ivory today :)
Had to vintage loving ladies coming over for some shopping and we went with them for lunch as well. Good pizza and a walk in the sun is a nice way spending you lunch break ;)
Around 18.30 Paolo, Silvia's boyfriend, came over for an aperitivo, he was in a good mood and had ordered some wine without saying anything. Very nice surprise and a good example for other men ;)

Straw hats

Found a group of old straw hats at a flea market in Finale last weekend. I think hats doing great as home decoration, they give that bohemian touch that makes a home feel cold and well comming.

Turbans

Going to Dubai on Wednesday and can't help getting inspired by the queen of Qatar even though it's a differnet country... Always loved turbans and I think she is the best modern example of how chic and exclusive it can make you look.
